How To Re-Design Your Life – Week 1

Hello and welcome to How To Re-Design Your Life – Week 1! I am so excited to share this mini coaching package with you and I know it’s going to help you identify problem areas in your life and put together your re-design for happiness, wellness and over all quality of life.

Check-In

Let’s start with a check in. How are you feeling over all in life right now? What is your general mood? Are you overwhelmed, sad, melancholy? Think about your day-to-day and write down what life feels like for you right now.

Mind-Set

For our mind-set activity we are taking a lesson from MuchelleB on YouTube. Her exercise “Ask for fresh thoughts”. I have linked the video as well as her channel below. I’ve been watching Michelle for YEARS, she’s brilliant and I find she takes very over used strategies and ideas and she finds a way to make them new or somehow more effective! Love her!

Meditation + Visualization

Now, we are going to take sometime to get comfy, relax, breathe and visualize your life how you want it to be. I don’t just want you to picture your ideal life. I want you to picture your ideal self giving you a tour of how your ideal life looks like. What is your morning routine? What do you eat for lunch? What kind of clothes do you wear? How do you do your makeup etc.? What are your friends like?

Include as many details as you can and jot them down however works best for you. I personally prefer short form for this part.

Re-Design Your Life

Next, we are going to go through the week, completing one exercise each day.

Weekly Steps

  1. Day 1 – What is your day-to-day life like right now? I want you to take note of your daily life, your habits, your moods and how you spend your time.
  2. Day 2 – What is your week-to-week life like now? How do you spend your week? Who do you hangout with, where do you spend most of your time, what do you get done or not get done?
  3. Day 3 – What is your month-to-month life like now? What is the majority of your time spent on? Do you get goals reached? Do you have monthly goals?
  4. Day 4- Are you happy with these findings? Do you feel happy with how you are spending your time? What you are getting done, who your spending your time with and how much money you are spending?
  5. Day 5 – In a year, what will your life look like if you don’t change? What will it look like if you do? For day 5, I really want you to take your time and picture your life a year from now if none of these habits and routines change. Then do the same for if you do change these routines and habits.
  6. Day 6 – List all of your why’s for change. Using the above information I want you to create a list of all the reasons you want to make changes to your life.
  7. Day 7 – What will your re-design theme be? This exercise is a fun one. I want you to think of a feelings or an aesthetic or even just a word you like and come up with a little theme for your life re-design. It could be something like “calm”, “delicious”, “diligent” etc. This word will be the first building block in Re-designing your life!

Weekly Reflection

What is working? What isn’t? Take note of all your reasons positive and negative for change and pick three main ones to use as your inspiration moving forward.
