How To Maintain and Reflect On Your Total Wellness

How To Maintain and Reflect On Your Total Wellness

Hello and welcome to the last day of my mini course How To Create The Life You Want. You made it! No, the work isn’t done, but you’ve made it so far and should be proud of yourself!

How To Maintain The Life You Want

Success in maintaining comes down to consistency and a good plan of action to get back into the swing of things if/and when you fall out of step.

First of all, you want to be prepared mentally to fall out every once in a while. Life gets in the way, that’s inevitable and beating yourself up over it isn’t going to help you. It’s going to lead to a negative mindset, negative feelings, a lack of recognition for all the work you’ve put in and may even result in you throwing in the towel.

With all of that said, a good plan of action for when you need to restart your momentum is a perfect way to help combat all of these potential road blocks.

I want you to start out by writing a few reminder notes to yourself highlighting all the work you’ve put in so far. You’ve done an amazing job and you deserve to celebrate your victories.

Next, it’s time to focus on what went wrong and why. Maybe it’s just been a hard week and you need to give yourself a little grace period before you get back to it. Maybe there is a step or part of your plan that just does not fit into the routine you created or the steps you take. The biggest issue is resistance, you want to create as little resistance with your wellness action plan as possible.

As usual, I’ve included some articles for you to read with resources and tips to help you create and maintain your plans and good habits.

Reflecting and Revising

Reflection is an important part of the whole maintenance process. It allows you to take a close look and figure out what’s working and what’s not and it allows you to come up with brainstorming ideas to make your plan of action more effective to you specifically.

Reflection is really about sitting down with yourself and your plan and going over what worked and what made things harder for you. Where did things fall out of place? What part isn’t working? What can you do to revise your plan and resolve this issue?

Take time every two weeks or once a month to sit down with your plan and reflect on the last few weeks.

This next article outlines five reasons reflection is an important daily habit.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for completing my How To Create The Life You Want mini course! I want to hear from YOU! What was your favorite part of the course? What didn’t you like? What could be made better? Any input is welcome!

Much love always, I’ll be seeing you in the next one <3 Ky
